My weekend

 On  Friday afternoon we were just playing on the play ground chilling because Mrs B said we could play for a few minutes until the bell rings.Ring then the bell rang so we went to go get are bags and sit down flourish was gonna pick us up we waited and waited then flourish was there we hopped into the van and when we got to flourish my mum picked me up when we got home we ate are candy and popcorn and enjoyed the movie  a few hours later  I fell asleep and the night went past quickly.In  the morning it was time to call Eva but I just let that wait and slept in for 10 minutes.I woke up and got dressed to write my Christmas letter I asked for slime a ball and a new bag also a  chandelier .

We Left home and mum had to go to mitre 10 for some reason then she went to go get a lawn mower mum said she was hungry so we went to subway for some nice sandwiches I had tomato and cheese when we were done we went to the two dollar shop and I got  some stockings. we were so tired so we went home I called Eva we chatted for a while it was so sunny we talked to each other and we were both outside it became night time and I enjoyed a movie and fell asleep the end.

a friendly letter to Mr and Mrs lovey dovey

Dear Mr and Mrs lovey Dove-y 

my name is Lukah I am 8 years old I wanted to write this because I thought you guys could be better teacher's. How I feel: I feel sad that you flooded the school church and those kids had to climb the beams to survive. Question: how old are you guys 20? 40? 80? 89? also,what country do you live in I live in New Zealand . Are you from ,America,France,or Spain? no offense but you guys should quit working at your school do you guys still even work at your school?because I still go to my school. Is your school Cathlioc mine is.I have always wonder'd what place in your country your from.your's faithfully  Lukah.

end of Term 3 good and not good things

 Things that have been good this year and have not been so good this term first would be persuasive writing I enjoyed it  because it was fun making the posters and the little pretend ads that was really fun the second thing  I enjoyed was the worlds worst children stories when Mrs.B read's  us a story from the book about them they are sometimes a brat or just a weird child and when were done listening to that story we describe them. Third is RE the thing I enjoyed the most in RE was creative prayer because it was fun creating a little  cloud and draw things we wanted to pray for around it .

Now things I did not really enjoy this term was rounding off  because it was kind of difficult for me I did not really understand what she meant because it was really confusing for me so as fractions because they were sort of hard and difficult this year.

Presuasive writing

Dear mum.

Can I have a dream catcher?.

Reason 1 I think I should have one because it can take away my nightmares and it could be a nice decoration to my room.

Reason 2 it would be a nice wall decoration in my room and maybe when i'm older and when I don't need it I can give it to my cousin.

Reason 3 when you buy it I could maybe glue my tiny worry dolls on it like tiny people standing on a dream catcher that would be kinda cute and I would really love a dream catcher.

I hope you understand all the reasons I want one.

My cross country experience

 At school I had my sports gear on.The bus was there when we came out of class and I did not wanna go but I had to at the farm it was big and the year 8 students went first it was a very sunny  day and a good morning to run.I was tired in my mind I said ''let my class run now so we can get this over with''.

About an hour later it was year 4 girls running after the year 1 also year 2's and so I  got  a chance to run  I got board looking at them run so I just sat down and ate.                              

Finally!  It was year 4's turn.I had a'lot of grass on my shoes all ready miss Cutler showed us the map where we needed to go first we went under the fallen tree and walked on the wood on top of the drain my back was soar.There was a hill with a drinking thing where cows drink from I saw how deep the hill was I ran down anyways it was very scary I fell 2 times I came 8 place it   was time to go we picked up trash and put it in the bin and lined up in are house group lines as we walked I told miss B Maori stories how Maui found his mother.At last!We reached the bus I sat down on the seat looking out the window saying' ya'y the day is over'' in my mind I was very tired.

  At school we came back from the bus i just sat down me and Te Ah'i were playing Donald Trump president of the united states we took turns being president .Then it was the end of the day thanks for reading bye. 

What i have been learning about in class

At school I have been learning about the creative prayer in RE we did prayers of gratitude and prayers for the sick  draw'ed a prayer  also I decorated it with gel pen.

Maths time  in my class I have been learning about division  it is quite easy because.You just give the sum a equal amount like if i have ten  toffee apples and my brother has ten toffee apples.

We move on to reading at reading I voice the people in the books we learn about saying right thing the word said when we read we are able to read harder books in the future.

In literacy we learn how to spell there is a contract where  we choose a learning literacy thing to do.We do this thing called book review and we find verbs noun's and write what verb or noun we found

When we do inquiry .At that kind of subject  we did  stuff like type of things that we use to make things out of like leather comes from cows to make shoes and nickel a type of metal. Maybe next year are teacher will do another inquiry thing to teach us.

Every Wednesday we do  Maori with the teacher  whea Danny  today we learned about Maori emotions.We all did a picture how we are feeling i did a board  face that's how i was feeling.

All about me

I am 8 years old and i like baking and swimming.I have a tan light skin.With long brown hair i have hazel eyes my favourite food is cookies and pizza.my favourite book is this hotel is haunted by Geronimo stilt-son .

i have one cat and one dog i have 1 sibling my brother i live in New New  Zealand is where  is live . My place where i live there is in the far north . I like the col'or light pink Teal and a  dark red col'or  My favourite subjects are inquiry reading,and writing my favourite country is New Zealand and  my favourite  place in it is Auckland 

 my house group is Chanel.I love the animals Alpaca's Llama's and Chameleon's my favourite things to do are just drawing 

The education is kinda fun ha'ha but I like  pulling pranks one day i'm gonna wrap the school up in t'p 

and the reading  i don't wanna go to  sometimes school but i always have a good day.But I would rather be at home ha'ha'ha 'ha ha'

My holiday

On my fun holiday we went to Auckland we saw the big sky tower when we got of the highway we visited my grandma.

She was happy to see us i peeked into my uncles room i saw him just playing his video games.

what looks very lame so i went to go back in the room where my gran and brother were in my quartz smashed on the floor i was shocked and just put them in a tiny plastic bag i put in  my suitcase.

Mum was going to the mall so we just ate butter popcorn  and eating chocolate eggs finally she came back Mum told us we have to wake up early because we are gonna go to the zoo and meet my step dads god mother Bernie who takes  care of someone like a mum.I was more happy about seeing the animals though

The next day we saw Logan my stepdads god mother was there me and my brother both said hi    i kept saying i ''wanna see the flamingos first ''  mum said ''we will see everything '' I saw Ostrich's  Rhino's Zebra's .

As I kept on walking i looked on  my map and saw we were by the Flamingos  I ran to them with a  exited face.I never wanted to stop looking at them.

When i looked at the other cage i saw grey Elephants they were so big.When we saw the otters they were so cute.I had never seen an otter a few hours later we saw the penguins and seals coming from out of a hole.

Some days later we left Auckland to go to Taupo   when we arrived there was hot springs 

with steam coming  out  my grandma that's my mum's step mother who  beat us to the rental house my aunties kept running up and down i don't know why.

Some time later i was playing ping pong with mum I Keep on beating her.I went in the spa i was so exited to see snow. A few minutes later I played ping pong again it was fun  when we  were putting on nailed it videos it  was funny because they couldn't make the Donald Trump cake.

The next day we were going to the snow at the snow we played in it I throw'ed a snow ball at my  scared'y cat aunties.I ate a bit of snow  it taste like ice crunched up i got my  shoe stuck in snow we went in the  car to go the cafe because it got to cold i order'd pizza and chips they were yummy  

back at the rent  house I played more ping pong a few more days later we went to stay at Rortura  and I  played at an arcade me and my brother played the Mario kart game when we were finished we played this game when you have to knock down the clowns.We had some food it was chips and nuggets we had to go because grandma and papa were at the golf when i arrived there were lots of bunnies and parrots I also saw big fat goldfish. There was a bunny it was so cute!I gave it a pat

we were going to Bernie's house for dinner also to stay the night we had pizza it was yum i was looking at the TV it was really late so i went to bed because it was 12 on the clock.

In the morning it was snowing but I just ignored Bernie's grandson  George I was just looking at the TV smiling.

We left her house very early to head to Tauranga  its a nice little city.The renting house was by the beach so we could get a nice view I took a tour of the house the room I was sleeping in the room it had electric beds  mum told we were going to have dinner at a nice dinner place.When it got dark mum drove us in the car to dinner.

I got chips only  chips! And had Vanilla ice-cream when we went back home my brother chose the movie called the hobbit  when it was done I went  to bed. The next day my grandma took us for a walk on the beach I  collected some shell's they were pretty.

we had to leave Tauranga  to go to Auckland we went inside the sky tower glass  floor  i could see lots of buildings when we left we went to a nice hotel we ate are lollies and on TV 2 there was a movie so we saw  it.

When we finished it  and  I  had a room It  was nice the curt'ins was left open because i loved seeing the big buildings we had one more day left  the next day we headed  out of Auckland  to a hotel in Whangarei  I saw my cousin's  I was exited we went in the pool when it got dark we went out for dinner at Jimmy Jack's I only got fries I was staying for 2 night's  I  saw my real dad there because my parents are broken up when we got back I went to bed.

The next day i woke up ready to go in the pool but it was to late.We were leaving grandma dropped us of to  mum's and that's my holiday the end.
